The fruit is so nourishing and moisturizing for the skin that even people with sensitive skin can use it for exfoliating it.

Just peel the papaya, cut it and make a juicy pulp out of it. Now, take raw turmeric root, and grate it. Mix this with the pulp of papaya, and apply this paste on the parts where you want to get rid of unwanted hair. Do a gentle massage, and let it remain for 20 minutes. Rinse off the pulp with warm water. Repeat this process twice a week. Wax off the lightened hair.

2. Turmeric

Turmeric is one of the best remedies for DIY hair removal. Not only does it make the dishes delicious and colourful, it also contains Curcumin, which is a powerful antioxidant, which helps in keeping the skin healthy, and helps in reducing the hair growth.

Take a tablespoon of turmeric, and mix it with a tablespoon of gram flour. Now, pour some sesame oil on it, so that you get a thick paste. With the fingers, apply this paste on places where you have unwanted hair. Let it remain for half an hour, and rinse it off with lukewarm water. Once it is dried, scrub it gently to remove the paste, and some hair will also come off with it. Use this remedy every week to get maximum benefits.

3. Sugar, Honey and Lemon

Sugar syrup is quite sticky and thick, and can actually work like wax. And, when it is combined with honey, it can act as a natural alternative for the expensive paraffin wax that is used by hair removal clinics. And, when a pinch of lemon is added to it, it helps in bleaching the hair, and reduces the visibility. This can help in plucking out the hair from the roots, and can also nourish the skin. If you wish to prevent this mixture from clinging on to the skin, you can apply corn-starch on the areas, where you wish to wax. Also, use only wooden spoon for applying the wax, and in the direction of the growth of the hair.

4. Potatoes and Lentils

Potatoes have acids, which will help in bleaching the body hair. They will lighten up the hair, and make them almost invisible. When you add lentils to it, it becomes an even more effective treatment.

To use this remedy, soak lentils in water overnight. In the morning, grind it in the mixer, so that it becomes a thick paste. Now, boil one potato and mash it with this paste. Add honey and lemon juice to it. Apply this on the body, and rinse it off after half an hour.

5. Corn-Starch and Eggs
