10 Easy Home Remedies To Lighten Your Dark Elbows And Knees!

1. Bleaching Agents – Milk, Honey, and Turmeric!

Think about it. The bleaching properties: milk, antiseptic properties: turmeric and moisturizing properties: honey in one concoction for all those tanned knees and elbows saying bye-bye! Here’s how you can make this magical mix.

Step 1: Mix all three ingredients in equal parts in a bowl.

Step 2: Make a thick paste.

Step 3: Apply the mixture on your knees and elbows.

Step 4: Leave it for 20 minutes. Wet your hands and start rubbing the affected area in circular motions to scrub the area for at least 2-3 minutes.

This is one of the most effective home remedies to get rid of dark elbows and knees.

2. A mixture of Olive Oil and Sugar

There is no rocket science in making this mixture because all that is needed is simple ingredients, olive oil, and sugar. While olive oil is a first-hand natural moisturizer, sugar acts an amazing exfoliator for removing the dead skin. The best part of about this mixture is, it’s easily available inside your kitchen: Follow the steps as below:

Step1: Take a container and put two to three tablespoon of sugar and two tablespoons olive oil.

Step 2: Mix both the ingredients to make a paste.

Step 3: Apply it on your knees and elbows.

Step 4: Use your fingers to slowly massage your elbow and your knee for almost 5 minutes.

Step 5: Wash the mixture off with a gentle soap and warm water.

Step 1: Squeeze some amount of juice from the above-mentioned fruits ( any one of them).

Step 2: Apply directly to your knees and elbows.

Step 3: Leave it for about 15-20 minutes and after that wipe it off using a damp cloth.

Step 4: Try this every day for at least 2 weeks to see the effective results.

4. Welcome Aloe Vera Gel

Step 1 Pluck a thick stem of aloe vera plant. If not available in your vicinity then you purchase an organic aloe vera gel based cream as well.

Step 2: Take out the sap from the leaf of the aloe plant.

6. Opposites: Yoghurt and Vinegar

8. Lemon Juice and Coconut Oil

Step 1: Take two tablespoon of lemon juice and coconut oil.

Step 2: Stir well and apply to your knees and elbows.
