Best Sneakers Releasing in June 2026: Nike Kobe 4 Draft Day Blind Box and Air Jordan 5 Lead the Month’s Biggest Drops

June 2026’s sneaker calendar arrives as the busiest of the year so far. Nike, Jordan Brand and Adidas are driving more than a dozen confirmed drops this month, headlined by the Nike Kobe 4 Protro “Draft Day” 14-pair blind box on June 26 and the 20-year retro return of the Air Jordan 5 “Black/University Blue” on June 20. The releases land into a global sneaker market valued by Statista at $96.37 billion in 2026, with the US accounting for $28.41 billion and Nike and Adidas controlling roughly 57% of share.

Nike Kobe 4 Protro “Draft Day” Blind Box Pack: June 26, $190

The month’s defining release is the Nike Kobe 4 Protro “Draft Day” pack, a 14-pair blind box collection marking the 30th anniversary of the 1996 NBA Draft. Thirteen colorways represent the franchises that passed on Kobe Bryant; the 14th is a Lakers pair. Each shoe features a wear-away white upper that scuffs to reveal full team colors underneath. A lottery-ball graphic sits on the left insole and a draft-board tag is printed inside the tongue. Buyers will not know which colorway they receive until the gold sealed packaging is opened. The pack drops exclusively via the Nike SNKRS app on June 26 at $190. See also Nike’s separately confirmed NBA Finals 2026 collection.

Air Jordan 5 “Black/University Blue” Returns After 20 Years: June 20, $220

Jordan Brand revives one of the most-requested early-2000s colorways. The Air Jordan 5 “Black/University Blue” originally released in 2006 as part of the Jordan Lifestyle (LS) line; this is its first retro in two decades. The build pairs a black nubuck upper with University Blue shark-teeth midsole detailing, a reflective tongue and an icy translucent outsole. Adult pairs retail at $220 via Nike SNKRS, Foot Locker, JD Sports, Finish Line, Hibbett, DTLR and Shiekh on June 20. Grade school ($155), preschool ($95) and toddler ($80) sizes will also be available. Another summer Jordan to watch: the Air Jordan 4 Retro Tour Yellow arriving later this year.

Air Jordan 3 Bin23: 2,300 Pairs, $355 — June 13

Jordan Brand revives the ultra-limited Bin23 series with an Air Jordan 3 numbered to 2,300 pairs globally. The shoe lists at $355 under SKU IO7744-600 and releases June 13. Bin23 returns to the Air Jordan calendar after a multi-year dormancy and signals the line’s strategy of stratifying high-end retros from standard general releases. World Cup Drop: Willy Chavarria x Adidas Copa Mundial Megaride — June 10, $200

The fashion industry’s biggest World Cup tie-in this month is the Willy Chavarria x Adidas Copa Mundial Megaride, mounting the classic Copa Mundial leather upper on the chunky Megaride platform. The model is accredited by the Mexican Football Federation and forms part of Chavarria’s official Adidas collaboration for the Mexican national team at the 2026 FIFA World Cup. The black smooth leather upper carries white Three Stripes and a white heel tab; style code KZ8743. International launch June 10 at $200 via adidas.com and select retailers. Early June Drops: Kobe 9, Pharrell x Adidas and Air Jordan 1 (June 1–9)

The first nine days of the month carry the supporting calendar:

  • Nike Kobe 9 Protro Low “Draft Day” — June 1, $190: Charlotte Hornets colorway honoring the 30th anniversary of the 1996 NBA Draft.
  • Adidas Adistar XLG 2.0 (Pharrell Williams collab) — June 4, $150: Three colorways — Grey Strata (KJ7895), Power Red (KI4506) and Royal Blue (KI4505).
  • Nike Air Foamposite One “Tianjin 2.0” — June 4, $250: The 2015 Asia-exclusive gets its first wide Western release. See also the upcoming Nike Air Foamposite One Realtree Camo.
  • Air Jordan 1 Low “Sail” — June 6, $145: Clean low-top treatment for summer rotation.

Late June: Jaide x Air Jordan 11 Low Fiberglass and Bape x Adidas Evo SL (June 26–27)

The month closes with two of the year’s most-anticipated collabs. The Jaide x Air Jordan 11 Low “Fiberglass,” releasing June 27 at $205 (SKU IW1882-300), is positioned by Jordan Brand as the first collaboration in the history of the Air Jordan 11 — a notable milestone given the silhouette’s 30-year retail run. The Bape x Adidas Evo SL lands the day before on June 26 at $150 (KJ5751), placing mismatched Bape camo and motifs on the trending Evo SL running silhouette. Converse also enters the late-June window with the Converse Shai 001 Premium Steel — Shai Gilgeous-Alexander’s signature shoe in a metallic finish — on June 11 at $150.
